| | 9. | Have you had an Access NI criminal record check?
A criminal record check is a process that must be undertaken with any person who will have continued contact with a vulnerable group. It will be undertaken as part of this process with all applicants who wish to take up a role in one of the partner organisations. A criminal record check ensures that people with certain types of convictions are not placed in positions of responsibility with vulnerable groups. Simple or minor convictions do not exclude you automatically, but some types of convictions would make people unsuitable for some types of roles. Anyone who is invited to take up such a role will be required to undertake such a check. | | |
